Ache Freres
Lassougade
1902 Hache et Lassougade, Agen, Lot-et-Garonne, France.
This was another of the odd 3 wheelers made at Agen, and less is known of it than it's rivals, the La Nef and the La Va Bon Train. Like the latter it had a tubular steel frame and wheel steering, and a surviving example has an Aster engine, whereas the La Nef seems always to have relied on De Dion Bouton power. The maker has been variously named as Hache et Lassougade, Ache, or Ache Freres. Since Ache is the French rendering of the letter "H", it may have been H. Lassougade. In 1907 the De Dion Bouton agent in Agen was a firm called Lassoujade, which may have been the same. Two, or possibly three, survive out of a claimed production run of 15 to 20 cars.
