Alhambra
In the mid-sixties, Bartolomé González was associated with good knowledge of the sector as the matador Antonio Bienvenida and Luciano Otero, known importer of cars and pilot.
The Alhambra project was none other than the manufacture of a sports car based on Simca 1000. For the first prototype we used the full mechanical version of Simca Rally.
The first Alhambra prototype was produced in 1968 model Spider.
In addition to this prototype, also manufactured in 1969, a second prototype, a coupe called "Alhambra 1200 Sport Coupe."
For this second pre-series prototype, Luciano Otero, who was marketing was started from the initial composition and pulling what was in "home", mounted the engine of national Rally Simca fully available at the moment, This confirms that both the first model as the second Alhambra Spider Coupe model had the engine in the rear, as opposed to some sources claim that this second model had the engine arranged in the front, thereby justifying the small differences in hood design front between the first and the second model.
