Austin 7 Wragg Willment
Alan Wragg built several cars to this specification in the early 1970's. Whilst they looked very attractive they suffered from a number of problems. The front axle was not articulated as on the later Austin works cars and it was very heavy, this caused the cars to understeer badly. Another problem was the small radiator (from a Mini) which resulted in overheating. Also the Vintage Sports Car Club were not happy about the numbers of cars being produced and so acceptance became a further problem.
