1929 Austin 7 Two seater
This interesting little two seater was the first car sporting Austin 7 to follow on from the 1925 Sports model. The front part of the body was from the 1929 AE model but with 4 inches added to the scuttle. It had an inclined windscreen fitted with Triplex laminated glass. The istrument panel was curved up in the middle to give better access to the gear lever and handbrake. The boot could be opened when the hood was up and from the inside when the hood was down. The spare wheel was carried horizontally in the boot. Production in 1929 was 107 cars and in 1930 it was 426. Reference The Austin Seven Source Book pages 260 & 261.
