The Big Seven was introduced in July 1937; production ceased in January 1939.
The Big Seven was the final major variant of the Austin Seven, and was produced alongside the Ruby until both cars were discontinued in January 1939, when they were replaced by the new Austin Eight.
Numbers Manufactured
Some say a total of 20,171 Big Sevens were manufactured.
Others give the production figures as
1937: 5,500 cars manufactured
1938: 16,414 cars manufactured
1939: 1,600 cars manufactured
