Clenet

Clénet Coachworks was a car manufacturer founded in the 1970s based in Santa Barbara, California. It was founded by the Frenchman Alain Clénet who moved to the United States to work in the automobile industry in Detroit. He then moved to California to start his own company.
The Clenet Series One was one of the cars produced by Clenet Coachworks. It was a luxurious sports car sold at around US$70,000 in the 1970s, and can be bought today for around US$100,000 when in good condition.
Clenet Coachworks produced around 300 cars, but closed its doors in the 1980s.
