Designed and built by Frank Costin in 1968. Frank was an aircraft engineer who had been in involved in the design and construction of the original Marcos cars and also with Lotus and Vanwall racing cars. This was his first attempt at building his own cars. They were manufactured at a new factory near Luton in Bedfordshire.
The chassis construction was plywood and spruce as had been developed for the Marcos and had proved very successful due to it's light weight and stiffness. The body outer skin was an aerodynamically efficient fibreglass construction. The engine was from the current Vauxhall 2.3 litre and the running gear was also Vauxhall from the VX 4/90.
It handled very well and was capable of 135mph with a 0 to 60 performance of 7.2 seconds and one was entered for Le Mans in 1971. It was expensive at £3326 which meant that only 7 cars were sold.
