After the success and longevity of the 308 GTB/GTS, the 328 had a tough act to follow but it proved to be a resounding success and to many there has not been a better eight cylinder Ferrari since. The familiar body style was distinctly revised by Pininfarina and the only visual change throughout the model's production life was in late 1988 when ABS became standard and thus a new convex five spoke alloy wheel design was employed. Production ended gracefully in late 1989 when production for the model had totalled over 7,000 units.
