1912 Havers 6-40
Havers Motor Car Company, Port Huron, Michigan.
The Havers was a well built and conventional car, unusual only that the company never made anything other than 6 cylinder models. These started with a 44hp in roadster and tourer forms which continued throughout the company's life. They were joined for 1913 by a 55hp Six-55, and for 1914 by the even larger Six-60. This was made as a "Speed Car" as well as the roadster and tourer. Havers sold 200 cars in 1912 and seemed set for a successful future, but a disastrous fire in July 1914 destroyed the factory , and they were unable to start up again.
