The Izzer was two passenger roadster designed by Dr. H. H. Bissell of Watseka, Illinois. This American Automobile was built by the Model Gas Engine Co. of Peru, IN. One for Dr. Bissell, one for E. A. Myers, owner of The Model Gas Engine Co. and a third for the office manager, James Littleton.
Features of the 1911 Izzer roadster included a four cylinder 20 horsepower. Wheel base was 99 inches and had a price of $1995.00.
Only one of the three Izzer's still exist. It's location is the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana. It is interesting to note that the Model Gas Engine Co. was once located in Auburn, IN. In Auburn The Model Gas Engine Co. made castings in addition to manufacturing engines. It made a change of location to Peru, IN about 1908 making engines there also.
