One of two cars built by the MG Competions Department for the 1961 Sebring 12 Hour Race. Driven by Sir John Whitmore and Peter Riley, No 43 finished 2nd in class and 16th overall in a 62 car field.
It stll has its original race engine EX178/43. Special fratures include a 20 gallan tank, quick fit jacks, 4 wheel disc brakes and knock off wheels, Plexiglass windows and extensive use of alloy panels.
