Marot-Gardon 1899 - 1902

This company started making motor ticycles and quadricycles in 1898, and in the following year they brought out a Marot-Gardon voiturette powered by a 3hp single-cylinder engine, with a 3 speed gearbox. For 1900 power was increased to 4.5hp, and for 1901 two models were offered, a 2 seater Marot-Gardon with front-mounted horizontal 6hp engine and chain drive, and a racing Marot-Gardon voiturette with a rear-mounted 7hp Soncin vertical engine geared directly to the rear axle.
