1912 Mighty Michigan
Michigan Buggy Company, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This company entered the motor trade with a motorized version of their horse-drawn buggy, using a 3 1/2hp single cylinder engine and a transmission which gave two forward speeds, but offered no reverse. they were made in very small numbers, and car production proper did not start until 1911 when they brought out a conventional car with a 40hp 4 cylinder Buda engine and roadster or tourer bodies. this was joined by a 33hp for 1912 and they they were made up to 1913, when financial mismanagement brought the company to a close.
