The J.W.F. was built in Brookvale New South Wales, Australia by Ian Johnson, Jeff Williams and Grant Furzer. Orignally built as a kit for re-bodied Austin 7's and other chassis. The Milano GT was designed to take the Holden as a donor car. A team of Holden powered Milano GT's were successful in competition between 1964 and 1967.
The larger 96 inch wheelbase Italia model was introduced in 1960 to take the components from the bigger Holden cars. It featured a NOTA space frome chassis and Holden mechanical components and could be purchased as a complete car. The GT2 with a monocoque body was available from 1969 as a competition car.
